I'm having an illicit love affair with Lovecraft (again) and working my way through my Necronomicon omnibus. Given that I have two weeks off work I think I might take the time to complete the Lovecraft montage that I've always wanted to do. I just spent the afternoon - whilst working on my Cth-tea-lu Box - priming the canvas that I've been planning on using. Now I just need to narrow down my options to four of my favourite stories. Only four! -.- I was thinking obviously one would be the Call of Cthulu, then the one with the tentacles wriggling and poking out of the hillside (can't remember the name of that one - will have to read it again)

Gah, need to update my journal more often! Been a little slow on the 3D art front lately, mostly due to my new IR camera conversions... and I don't have a lot of time to sit down and play with DAZ3D and Poser endlessly like I used to. So after a long few months, I finally finished the layby on my new EP2 >.< A bit of dusting was involved with my dad's old OM10 lenses, a $30 adaptor from Canberra and Presto! I have 3 lenses for my Pen camera, plus a macro adaptor (a little cloudy >.>) and a HD wide-angle fisheye lens that works BEA-utifully :P Went for a quick trip to Olympic Park this afternoon and had a play around in Lightroom to do a little cleanup. Not bad :) I'm quite proud of myself!
